K-A Dance Trust

The Keys-Arenas Dance Trust commemorates the life and work of Guillermo Keys-Arenas (1928-2006) a dance teacher, performer and choreographer held in high esteem by the Australian dance community. His artistic career spanned more than half a century. He settled in Australia in 1975 and made many important contributions to the development of dance in this country.

The Keys-Arenas Dance Trust was established in 2008 in accordance with Mr. Keys-Arenas final wishes, founded on funds left from his Estate bequeathed for this purpose. The Trustees are Alan Conolly and Wanda Wojtulewicz-Levine.

Guillermo Keys-Arenas wished to provide assistance to promising Australian professional dance artists to further their skills and careers. The Dance Awards will be offered periodically to professional dancers or choreographers in any form of theatrical dance. A recipient must be an Australian citizen or resident.
